Team L6 ~ Coach Harvey ~ Grade 3

Aloha, 

My name is Coach Harvey and I love my job.  I take pride in being a "Public School Teacher," and I take the education of students seriously.  My teaching philosophy involves learning as a Team, which is why I have the students call me Coach Harvey.  I consider myself their Educational Coach, in the Game of Learning.  

 

This is my 9th year of teaching: Seven years in Grade 3 and one year in 5th grade.  In my class, we do hands-on projects, math problem solving and we use technology such as Google Classroom to do research and writing projects.  We buddy read, read-to-self and share our writing during "Author's Chair."
