Here are the Home Activities for the week of May 18 - 22. We will have Kindergarten PE on Tuesday, May 19 starting at 2:00 p.m. We will also have Grade 5 PE on Thursday, May 21 starting at 2:00 p.m. Please check ClassDojo for the links and passwords.

Active Home Assignment:
This fitness journal is your instructional guide through a 2-week wellness home
study. It has been designed with a focus on the following core competencies for
social and emotional learning – Self-Awareness and Self-Management.
In addition, you will be working toward physical education grade-level outcomes
in the areas of fitness knowledge and personal and social responsibility.
April 13 - 17
Hope everyone is well and following all Federal, State, and County guidelines. We miss seeing all of you and hope we will be able to see you all in the near future. Please continue to try and get your 1 hour of physical activity everyday. There are a handful of you who are using the Grab and Go breakfast/lunch pickup time to walk to school. It is great seeing you folks at the entrance. Here are some resources and enrichment activities you can do at home to hit your 1 hour of daily physical activity. Remember to stay home and stay strong!

Hey all you Avengers! Here is a short workout you can do with very little space!
Here is a free app that you can use on your mobile device if you like to walk or run.
How it works:
  1. Walk, jog, or run.
  2. Hear your mission and music through your headphones
  3. If you’re chased by zombies, you’ll have to speed up!
  4. You’ll automatically collect supplies to build up your base.
See if you can complete at least 3 missons for this week.
I hope everyone is being safe and practicing good hygiene (washing your hands, not touching your face, etc). I know it is pretty difficult to get your 1 hour of physical activity everyday when all the city parks are closed and its hard to breathe with a covering over your nose and mouth. To those of you who are getting your minimum amount of physical activity, PLEASE KEEP IT UP! Itʻs really AWESOME to see some of you walking to school to pick up lunch! Remember, you can do some of these physical activities at home. Please check every Monday for activities to do throughout the week. Itʻs is also nice to hear from some of you and sharing with me what you are doing to stay active. Stay safe and please follow all Federal, State, and City laws and guidelines. These are put in place for the safety of you and your `ohana. Miss seeing all of you and hope to see you soon!!
