Food Pantry at Kipapa

Beginning this month, Kipapa will offer a Food Pantry for Kipapa families. The Food Pantry is a joint partnership with Alea Bridge, the Hawaii Foodbank, and the YMCA. Twice a month, Kipapa families can come to the cafeteria to pick up one bag of food (food will be prepackaged in bags). Food Pantry dates for this month are Nov. 9 & 16 from 2:30-4:30 pm.

Pumpkin Carving Night

Halloween is just around the corner! Our annual Pumpkin Carving Night will be on Thursday, Oct. 25th from 6:15-7:45 pm. Please click on the news heading above for more information.

Enchanted Forest Book Fair: Let Your Imagination Grow!

Step into a whimsical world of books at our annual Fall Scholastic Book Fair being held in the library from Fri., Oct. 19 to Fri., Oct. 26. Weekday hours will be 7:30am to 3:30pm, with extended hours til 6:00pm on Pumpkin Carving Night (Thurs., Oct. 25). Please click on the news heading above for more information.

Student Council News

Please visit the Student Council Snack Shop on Pumpkin Carving Night (Th, Oct. 25th). The Student Council will be selling hot dogs, chips, and drinks until supplies last. Proceeds will benefit a local non-profit organization in the community. Thank you for your support of this meaningful service project!

Heart Healthy Newsletter from AHA

We are proud to partner with the American Heart/Stroke Association to bring year-round heart healthy resources to you and your family. Did you know that Oct. 29th is World Stroke Day? Locations Foundation Volunteer Work Day

Makeup Picture Day

Picture Makeup day will be on Wed., October 24th. If you wish to have your child retake his/her picture, the entire package must be sent back and you may pick up a retake order form in the office. Order forms will be home with students who were absent on picture day.

Healthy Snacks

Kipapa Elementary will once again be having the Fresh Fruits and Vegetable Program (FFVP) healthy snacks immediately following Fall Break. Grade PS-2 will be having their healthy snacks on Tuesdays and Grade 3-5 on Wednesdays. This is subject to change, depending on holidays.
