Aloha e nā ʻohana o Kīpapa, 

My name is Dr. Jhameel Duarte and I am the proud principal of Kīpapa Elementary, home of the cougars, and nestled in the vibrant community of Mililani, Hawaii. At Kīpapa Elementary, we take pride in fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where students are inspired to explore, discover, and excel. Our school is not just a place of education; it's a close-knit community that values collaboration, diversity, and the pursuit of academic excellence.

At Kīpapa Elementary, we take care of the “whole child” by addressing any social-emotional learning needs that our students may have. We want all of our students to be academically successful and to enjoy coming to school everyday.

I am thankful to be able to work with such a dedicated team of educators who are passionate about creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences and equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed for success in a rapidly evolving world is truly inspiring. Kīpapa Elementary is not just a school; it's a community where every child is valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Throughout the coming weeks, we will close the 2023-24 school year and will be ramping up for the 2024-25 year.
